Toor Dal

Lentils or Dals, as are popularly known by most of the Indians, are a common ingredient in most Indian dishes. Lentils are used in the preparation of a variety of foods ranging from soup and stew to rice dishes to noodles and even bread. Apart from being a nutritious delicacy used as an accompaniment for several dishes, lentils have several dietary benefits due to their nutrient composition.
