Chicken Soup

A perfect comforting chicken potato soup - creamier, richer  and loaded with the goodness of cheese! You don’t need any special occasion to have this super delicious soup. A cold winter weather is good enough to enjoy the delicacy of this sumptuous soup!


 1 medium onion (chopped)

2 tbsp butter

3 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth

2 medium potatoes (cut into 1/2-inch cubes)

1.5 cup chicken breast (diced and cooked)

 Salt, according to taste

A pinch of Turmeric

1/4 tsp red chilli powder

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 cups fat-free milk

1 tsp fresh parsley (minced)

1 tsp chives (minced)

Step by Step Recipe to prepare Creamy Chicken Potato Soup with Turmeric

 Step 1: Heat butter in a large saucepan and add onion. Sauté until tender.

Step 2: Add in turmeric, broth, and potatoes and bring to boil.

Step 3: Reduce the flame and cover the pan. Simmer for another 15 minutes.

Step 4: Stir in the chicken, salt, and pepper.

Step 5: Take a bowl and mix 1 cup fat-free milk in the flour to make a smooth batter. Add into the saucepan.

Step 6: Now add the leftover 1 cup fat-free milk.

Step 7: Bring to a boil. Cook and stir until thickened.

Step 8: Sprinkle with parsley and chives.

Serve Hot
