Gobi Aloo Recipe

Ingredients: 

  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 1 small cauliflower
  • 2 boiled potatoes
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • Salt to taste 

For Garnishing:

2 tbsp chopped coriander

Method: 

  • Heat oil in a wok and add cumin seeds.
  • When they splutter add the cauliflower florets and fry for few minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Add the medium sized potato pieces, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander seeds and mix well.
  • Cover the wok and cook on a low flame for 8 - 10 minutes.
  • Add the tomatoes and salt. Cook for 5-7 more minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
