How do I place an order on India Bazaar online shop?
 
Step 1
Browse the product list on the left hand side of the page. The search can be refined by typing in a product or brand name in the search box in the top right hand corner of the page. For information on the product click on the image for expanded information to be displayed.
 
Step 2
Click Add to Cart to add you’re shopping to your basket.  To add more products click continue shopping. 
 
Step 3
When you have completed your shopping click proceed to checkout.Members of the India Bazaar Website can log in at this stage and your details will automatically completed.
If you are not a member you can register for free membership or checkout as a guest using your email address and contact phone number.
 
Step 4
Enter your billing and delivery details click Continue.
 
Step 5 
Choose your delivery method, and click Continue.
 
Step 6
Choose your payment method, and click Continue.
Your shopping cart can now be reviewed and the full order with all costs can be seen.
Further delivery instructions or special information can be provided at this stage.In Order and Delivery Comments text box, you can enter such as the time frame you can receive your order or if you are not home at the time of delivery you can instruct the delivery person to leave your parcel at the door.

Step 7
Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully once you have read and understood our Terms and Conditions, tick the Box to accept our Terms and Condition and click on place order button. 
 
An order confirmation will be sent to your email, confirming that we have received your order. You may also get a payment confirmation email from PayPal. 

 

How do I find the product I am looking for?
Type in a product or brand name in the search box in the top right hand corner of the page and click on search.
For detailed product information click on the image of the product or on product name to expand.
 
What are my payment options?
You can pay online using a credit cards such as, American Express, Master Card, Visa Card and Debit Card via PayPal.
 
Are there any extra Fee or Charges for an online payment?
No. There is no extra charge when you make an online payment through India Bazaar. All fees and charges are paid for by India Bazaar.
 
Is shopping and paying online safe?
All online payments go through a PayPal secured payment system, which is protected by VeriSign Identity Protection. The (VIP) Network offers an extra layer of security and protection. India Bazaar does not receive, or record any of your credit card details .(Your personal pin number, credit card number, bank account number etc.) All of your payment information is kept by PayPal. 
Our Shopping Cart is securely hosted here in Australia, by a reputable Australian Company.
Any personal information you disclose to us is handled with confidence, in accordance with our privacy policy.
 
What will happen after I have successfully completed an order and payment online?
After you have successfully placed your order and made payment, you will receive an order confirmation email and you may also get a payment confirmation email from PayPal.

When and how will my order be shipped?
Depending on availability of stock, orders take 2 to 7 working days to ship within the Sydney metro area. In the unlikely event that your product is out of stock, we will contact you and discuss providing an alternative product. If you do not wish to discuss an alternative product, we will be happy to issue a refund.All deliveries are made by a Courier Service Courier Service direct to your door.
 
Do I have to be home at the time of Delivery?
All deliveries are done during business hours to your nominated address by the Courier Service Contractor and must be signed for when received. If a signature cannot be obtained at the time of delivery, a card will be left informing you how to collect your parcel.
If you are unable to take delivery of your parcel in person the delivery contractor can leave your parcel at the door if you instruct.
 
Note: If you are not available at the time of delivery and would like your parcel to be left at your nominated address, then please instruct in ‘Order and Delivery comments’ text box.
 
If you instruct us to leave the parcel at your door then you must do so prior to the date of delivery. Neither India Bazaar nor the delivery agent will take responsibility should the parcel go missing after the delivery.
 
Should you not be present at the time of the delivery the delivery contractor will not leave your parcel at the address and it will be returned to us as undeliverable parcel in which event we may cancel your Order and charge you a delivery fee and restocking fee up to $20 as well as the cost to cover the possible loss for any perishable item in your Order.
 

What are the delivery charges?

Delivery fee is charged according to the Weight and Area Postcode the parcel is being delivered to. The following charges are a guide for Standard Rate Delivery for Metro Area of Major Cities within Australia.

For a pack up to 500g in weight, the delivery charges are $6.50

For a pack up to 1Kg in weight, the delivery charges are $7.50

For a pack up to 3Kg in weight, the delivery charges are $8.50

For a pack up to 5Kg in weight, the delivery charges are $9.50

A Pack up to 24Kg in weight, the price will vary according to area postcode the parcel is being delivered to, for Sydney Metro Area it will cost $9.99.

For Outside Metro Area and Regional Suburbs, the delivery charges are different that can be checked before checking out.

How do I calculate the delivery cost?
The delivery cost depends on the weight of the package, and the delivery address.You can calculate the cost of delivery, using the Estimate Delivery Cost and Tax tool located in Shopping Cart.
 
Can my delivery address be different from my billing address?
Yes. Your delivery address can be different from your billing address. However, you can only have one order, to one delivery address. Multiple delivery addresses cannot be entered for a single order.
 
Please ensure you provide the correct delivery address as parcels which are retuned as undeliverable are liable for a $20 restocking fee. Delivery and Postage paid for the original delivery are not refundable.
 
Can I track my order online?
If you are an India Bazaar website member, you can log in to your account at any time and check the status of your online order as it progresses.
 
What happens if I receive damaged or incorrect items in my order?
India Bazaar takes special care while packing all orders, occasionally accidents or errors occur. Any damaged, missing or incorrect products must be notified to us within 48 hours of your parcel being signed for.
Should your parcel contain a faulty or damaged product India Bazaar in conjunction with the delivery company, will work to rectify the problem as soon as possible. 
 
How will I know when my order has been shipped?
Once your order has been shipped from our premises, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know your package has been shipped. You can also log in to your account and check on the status of your order.
